A second page of photos around Kingston BagpuizeSome houses on the Faringdon RoadNext to what was formerly John Garrett's Bakery and house and walking around what was in earlier times, the estate village of Kingston Bagpuize, we find 'Rose Cottage'. Crossing the road is 'Greystones' reputedly once the home of a lace maker and the 'Old Forge' home to the Ballard family of blacksmiths. Further along the road, walking westwards, are some Victorian houses built when the village was an estate village belonging to the occupants of Kingston House. | Rose Cottage shows the bread oven on the cottage side | |
| Here on the Faringdon Road stands 'Greystones' the old cottage thought to have been that of a Lacemaker at one time. In 1960-70s Lady Squire and her daughter Gillian lived here. Gillian taught at John Blandy School. | |

| These pair of cottages until recently had 'barley-sugar twist' chimneys. Sadly these were removed about 2005. They were very distinctive and would have been installed when the house was built by the Estate. | |
